Add or Change a Page
Your LIFEYO website comes with a few pages but it's simple to change them or add more. Just click "Site Options" then select "Navigation"
From the Navigation panel, simply place your mouse over a page to make changes to it. To rename, click the rename button and then click OK. If you wish to delete the page, just click the delete button. To change the order of your pages, just click and drag - your navigation links will change accordingly.
To add a page, click the "Add New Page" button. Give your new page a name and then click the "add page" button.
If you'd like to get creative, it's easy to change the style of the navigation links. Try different fonts, sizes, or colors.
Change the Title of Your Website or Upload a Logo Graphic
To change the title of your website or upload a logo graphic, first click the "Site Options" button at the top of your screen. Then select "Site Title."
The first thing you'll notice is a text area that allows you to change your website title. Once you edit the text, make sure to click the "Update" button for the changes to complete.
On the right side of the panel are several style options that allow you to change the font, sizes, or even turn/off the website title entirely.
To upload your own logo, click the "Choose File" button and find the file you wish to upload from your computer.
Add Text
In your toolbar, click the "+ Add Content" button and then select "Add Text"
Click in the box and start typing away. Feel free to use the tools in the formatting bar to customize the look of your text. When you're finished, click "Create Text" and the text will appear on your page.
You will probably want to re-position the text to a place that works best. Just click and drag the text box. To change the text area width, grab the resize handle.
For some extra flair, click the "Style" tab to apply a graphic background to your text.
Add a Blog Post
To add a new blog post to your website, first navigate to the page that hosts your blog. Click the "New Blog Post" button to get started.
In the window that appears, enter a title and blog post content then click "Save Blog Post" Your blog post will then drop into your page. For it to go live, you must click the "Publish" button.
Add Photos
To add a single photo to your website, first click the "+ Add Content" button and then select "Single Photo"
Your Photobank will then appear at the bottom of your screen. Go ahead and click on any photo to add it directly to the page, or if you need to upload a photo from your computer, click the "Upload New Photo" button.
Once the photo appears on your page, you can easily move or resize it using your mouse. Click the "Edit" button if you wish to have the photo link to a different page, or click the "Style" button to add a background frame of your choice.
Add a Photo Gallery
Adding a photo gallery is a great way to show off many photos at once. Just click "+Content" then "Photo Gallery."
Type in the name of your new gallery.
Now you have a gallery and you need to add photos to it. Click "Add Photos" and upload the photos from your computer.
Once the photos are uploaded, click the "Add Gallery to Page" button. By default, you will see a "Grid"- style gallery which displays small thumbnails that can be enlarged for viewing by your visitors.
Feel free to try different gallery styles. Just click "edit" then choose from the style drop-down menu. The Fader style will display alternating photos with a short delay. Photostack allows you to display an album as a single photo. When a visitor clicks the photo, they can then browse the gallery.
Tip: you'll need to preview your website in order to see how your gallery works for visitors.
Add Video
To add a video to your page, first find the video on youtube or vim you would like to use. Then, on the video page, look for the "embed" code.
On you tube, click the embed button just below the video. then, click in the box and copy the code.
On Vimeo, click the embed button just below the video. then, click in the box and copy the code.
Once your embed code is copied, head back to LIFEYO and click the "Add Video" button in the "+ Add Content" drop down menu.
Paste your code, then click "Add Video."
Once the video is on your page, you can move or resize it.
Add Contact Form
A contact form is a great way to let your visitors get in touch with you without having to make your email address public.
To add a contact form, click "+Add Content" then "Extras" You'll see the contact form tab on the left side.
On this panel, first confirm the email address you would like messages to be directed to. Other options allow you to customize the look and feel of the form.
To get the form on your page, just click "Add form to page"
Add Google Map
A Google Map is a great way for your visitors to find the location of your business or organization. To add a new map, click the "+Add Content" button then select "Extras"
In the Google Map panel, first click "Add New Map"
Then, simply type in your address and click the "Add Map" button. Your map will then appear on your page. Feel free to resize and move the map using your mouse. Don't forget to add your address directly to your page so visitors can write it down!
Change Your Background
Want to change the way things look by changing the background? Simply click the "Site Options" button then click "Background."
Choose from the backgrounds that weve included in the editor, or go ahead and use your own photo. For a simple look, you can also choose a solid color.
Change Your Theme
Try on a new theme to change the overall look of your website. In the top toolbar, click on the "Site Options" button, then select "Theme" to bring up the Site Theme panel.
Click on the left and right arrows to scan through a list of available themes. When you click on a theme, you will see a live preview in the editor. To use the new theme, click the "Apply Theme" button. To revert back to your existing them, just click "Cancel"
