Creating a Website

To get your first website started, head over to www.lifeyo.com.

Choose a template that fits the kind of website you'd like to build. Based on your selection, we'll provide pages and layout that makes it easy to get started.

Next, choose a theme that you like and click "Continue" Don't worry, once you're in the editor, you can change anything you'd like.

Fill out your details and we'll send you right into the Editor.

Once you're in the Editor, the first thing you'll notice is that you can use your mouse to edit or move anything on the page. Lifeyo is a completely visual web-site building experience that requires no complicated code at all.

At the top of your screen is your toolbar where you can add content, modify the nuts and bolts of your website, share your website, preview changes, and finally, publish your website to the Internet when you're ready to go live.

Editing and Customizing Content

LIFEYO provides you with a template that has placeholder content designed to stoke your imagination. You can easily edit anything on the page to make it your own, or feel free to delete and start fresh.

To edit text, just double-click and use the text-editor that pops up. To change a photo, double-click and then choose a photo from your Photobank.

If your photobank is empty, you can add photos by clicking "upload new photos"

Adding a new post to your blog is simple. Just click the "New Blog Post" button and you'll be able to start typing away. adding media to your blog post is a snap.

Preview and Publish Your Website

As you make changes to your website in LIFEYO, what you see is how it will look when it is published. But if you'd like to get a closer look, click the Preview button and a new window will open. In the preview, you can navigate your site as a visitor would.

Once you're ready to go live with the changes you made, click the Publish button.

Sign In to Your Website

If you'd like to sign in and start editing a website you've created already, there are two ways to do it.

1. Sign In From LIFEYO.com

Just go to www.lifeyo.com and click on the "Sign In" button at the upper right corner of the page.

Enter your Email and Password to gain access to your Dashboard. From there, you'll be able to find and edit your website.

2. Sign In Directly From Your Website

At the top right corner of every LIFEYO website is a small tab. Click this and then enter your email and password to sign in directly to your website. The editor will load immediately.
